I loved this fun engagement session in Champaign, Illinois with Michael and Mariellen!! We started out at Lake of the Woods in Mahomet, and we belly-laughed a LOT! They warned me that they were awkward in front of the camera, which is always my favorite because those clients always end up being the best! They have such a beautiful, giggly relationship. You can tell they’re so excited about starting their lives together!

Their first date was at the famous Jarling’s Custard Shop in Champaign, Illinois, so we had to make a stop there to commemorate. We had a blast easting ice cream and laughing even more. I love it when couples incorporate unique and important locations that mean something to them for their engagement session! These places have such sweet memories and speaks to who they are as a couple and the things they like to do together. 

THEY ALSO HAVE A GOLDEN RETRIEVER NAMED NALA so it was meant to be!!

I am so excited for their wedding in April 2020!
