the barn at kennedy farm
POSTED IN ON September 20, 2019
Alright ya'll...get ready and buckle up because this wedding blog is about to BLOW. YOUR. MIND! I have been highly anticipating posting this wedding because well, you'll see for yourself below, but it is simply one of my favorite weddings of all time! No Joke, there's 200 images in this post...Here we go!
Cole & Jamie got married on Sunday, September 1st at The Barn at Kennedy Farm in Lizton, Indiana. It started out to be a very rainy, overcast day and when I first arrived to the barn Jamie looked at me and said, "I am all about this rain. I know you're going to do your moody magic, so I'm not worried one bit. Rain or shine, I'm getting married outside. I don't care if I get wet!"
From that moment on, I just KNEW it was going to be an amazing day. Not only because Jamie was okay with the rain, but the one thing that was most important to her and Cole was the fact that at the end of the day they were going to be husband and wife, no matter what the rest of the day looked like. Well, let me tell you, the rest of the day was incredible!
The rain cleared up and the sun showed its face just before we began photographing, but the day still provided a bit of a moody vibe, which I'm allllll about! From the sweetest first looks with Jamie's dad, Cole, and her sweet grandma, all the way to the sparkler exit these two were about each other and their love for one another.
Surrounded by so many fun, loving people, Cole & Jamie shared vows and said "I do" under beautiful big trees, just outside the gorgeously decorated barn. Once the ceremony was over, we snuck away to the tree swing for some portraits and fun before entering the reception. And then, it was time to party and these two sure know how to throw a party! Dancing with my couples is one of my favorite things to do at the end of a wedding day. So, if you're one of my couples (or potential couples) reading this, just know that I WILL be out on the dancefloor with you busting a move!!
Ending the night with a sparkler exit, was the perfect way to send these two newlyweds off in style to start their new marriage! I was so very honored to have been apart of their day, witnessing such a beautiful love between an amazing couple and I seriously had so much fun!
Cheers to all of the amazing vendors that made Cole & Jamie's day possible!
